OIS Services, in collaboration with our technical partners is licensed by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), to enroll Nigerians in the Diaspora for the unique National Identification Number (NIN) which is now mandatory for all her Nigerian citizens (home and abroad) and persons legally living in Nigeria. The service provided includes an end-to-end enrollment and subsequent issuance of the NIN which will be integrated into the Country’s National Database.

The Benefit of NIN

The NIN can be used to access a wide range of services, from Government Social Services, Voters Card Registration, Issuance and renewal of International Passport, Bank Account Opening and Reactivations, to Consular Services at Nigerian Embassies and Missions abroad among others.

Eligibility and Requirements

  1. You must fill your pre-enrollment application on NIMC's website at Diaspora-NIMC-LoginForm
  2. Ensure you have one of the following documents;
    a) Nigerian Birth Certificate
    b) Valid Nigerian International Passport
    c) Authentication letter from the Nigerian Embassy/Mission in your Country of residence where you do not have a Nigerian Passport
  3. Kindly note that applicants with Bank Verification Number (BVN) should have their number available when they attend their appointment.
